Job summary

Aultman Health Foundation's CVSICU is a 14-bed Cardiovascular Surgical Intensive Care Unit designed for adult surgical cardiothoracic patients and complex post-anesthesia recovery. The role provides clinical leadership, patient and family teaching, and collaborative care under the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

Ideal candidates hold an Ohio RN license, with BSN preferred and ANCC certification consideration. Experience in cardiac or critical care is preferred, with opportunities to advance nursing

Qualifications

• Graduate of state board approved School of Nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio.
• BSN preferred.
• Certification preferred for ANCC eligibility.
• Membership preferred in professional nursing organization.
• Academic and experiential requirement per applicable law.

Responsibilities

• Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient health or situation.
• Analyzes assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issue.
• Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient.
• Develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives.
