Job summary

Aultman Health Foundation is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab to deliver direct, primary nursing care in a high-acuity environment in Canton, Ohio. The RN will assess needs, delegate to team members, and coordinate care with cardiologists and radiologic staff.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, ensuring patient safety, maintaining up-to-date competencies, and collaborating with patients and families to support positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse license through the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS with Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) training required.
• ACLS training and RQI encouraged.
• Membership in professional nursing organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, and timely communication of patient information.
• Advocate for patients and coordinate care with the healthcare team to ensure safety and satisfaction.
• Maintain competency and adhere to professional standards and hospital policies.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff in care planning and delivery.
• Provide leadership and participate in performance improvement activities within the department.
