Job summary

Carilion Clinic is seeking an RN for the ICU at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Rocky Mount, VA. This full-time, days/earlier shift role includes every-other-weekend scheduling and rotating holidays.

A $20K sign-on is available for experienced RNs and $10K for new grads, with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care across all ages. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care in the ICU, collaborate with the care team, document in EMR, and participate in quality initiatives while supporting

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license or eligibility.
• Inpatient ICU experience preferred but not required as per posting.
• AHA BLS-HCP certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required by area.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific nursing care in ICU.
• Administer medications and treatments and document care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans.
• Support education and orientation of new staff.
• Participate in performance improvement and quality initiatives.
