Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the ICU to provide patient-centered care within Mercy's Nursing Conceptual Framework. You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, while coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

You must hold a current RN license in the hiring state or compact license, and maintain state board requirements.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification.
• NRP/ENPC/TNCC certifications preferred.
• CPHON/OCN/PALS/PEARS certifications may be required.
• STABLE and C-EFM certifications listed as preferred.
• Other unit-specific certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coordinates patient care in collaboration with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
