Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an ICU/Critical Care position at The Jewish Hospital. The role centers on delivering high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients, with responsibilities spanning assessment, care planning, treatment implementation, and coordination with the care team.

Qualified candidates hold an RN license, with a BSN preferred, and certifications such as BLS/ACLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience (required).
• 6 months RN experience in a Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown, or Emergency Department Unit (preferred).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• ACLS and/or PALS certifications preferred or required by hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct and analyze patient assessments, create a plan of care, implement treatment, and evaluate effectiveness.
• Administer medications safely and in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Adapt to rapidly changing patient conditions with evidence-based actions.
• Other duties as assigned.
