Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide safe, patient-centered care in a 26-bed ICU. The RN will perform the nursing process, evaluate care effectiveness, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams while upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

Licensure in the hiring state or compact licensure is required. Certifications such as BLS are required within 30 days of hire; ACLS/TNCC may be required depending on unit.

Qualifications

• RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire; ACLS/TNCC may be required depending on unit
• Strong assessment, monitoring, and patient advocacy skills

Responsibilities

• Provide care for critically ill patients in a 26-bed ICU with complex monitoring and interventions
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams and ensure patient rights and confidentiality
