Job summary

AdventHealth Orlando is seeking a Night Shift Respiratory Therapist to join the care team. You will document procedures, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to optimize patient flow and outcomes.

Responsibilities include interpreting evaluations, providing arterial blood gas analyses, operating ventilators, and responding to Code Blue emergencies per AHA guidelines. Requires NBRC/RRT credentials, BLS, and an Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science with NBRC credentialing required.
• BLS (CPR) certification required and current.
• State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required; NBRC RRT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document and charge procedures accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to manage patient flow.
• Interpret evaluations and test results to plan treatments.
• Respond immediately to Code Blue emergencies and perform CPR.
