AdventHealth Orlando is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to deliver and monitor respiratory care, including breathing treatments, ABGs, and ventilator support. The role requires patient assessment, airway management, and collaboration with the care team in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The position is full-time, night shift, based in Orlando, FL, with benefits from day one and opportunities for career development. Eligible for NBRC and BLS credential maintenance.

Qualifications

• Critical thinking and patient assessment skills.
• Infection control standards and practices.
• Excellent communication and EMR documentation abilities.
• Airway management including endotracheal intubation.
• Ventilation support including invasive/non-invasive modes.
• ABG puncture and arterial cannulation skills.
• Pediatric to geriatric patient care knowledge.
• NBRC credential and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders.
• Set up and monitor ventilators; document changes.
• Respond to rapid response calls and code blue; perform CPR.
• Document care in EMR; participate in rounds.
• Manage oxygen therapy and ABG analysis.
