AdventHealth Orlando is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to assess patients, administer breathing treatments, manage ventilators, and respond to rapid response calls. You will work nights on site, performing ABG analysis, intubations as needed, and documenting in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Critical thinking and patient assessment skills required.
• Airway management and endotracheal intubation experience preferred.
• Proficiency with ventilator management and ABG analysis expected.
• Experience documenting in electronic medical records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy treatments and procedures per provider orders and standards.
• Manage oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosolized medications.
• Draw and report blood gases; respond to rapid response and code blue events.
• Document care and participate in interdisciplinary rounds and staff education.
