Job summary

St. Luke's Health–The Vintage Hospital in Northwest Houston is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care across the care continuum.

You will perform assessments, develop and implement care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support positive patient outcomes. The role requires strong critical thinking, urgency, and patient-first care, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• ASN required and active Texas RN license.
• BLS/CPR certification within required timeframe.
• ACLS certification preferred or required per role.
• Recent RN experience and demonstrated clinical competence.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and throughout stay; notify physician of changes.
• Design and evaluate care plans; educate patient/family; coordinate discharge needs.
• Prepare patients for treatments and procedures; ensure safety and prepare for changes.
• Reassess patients after interventions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Provide bedside report to oncoming shift, ensuring continuity of care.
