Job summary

Children's Health in Dallas, TX is seeking a Pharmacy Tech II to support the ICU pharmacy team. You'll prepare unit dose medications, compound sterile preparations, and deliver meds to patient care units, including the cardiac operating room suites.

Under supervision of the pharmacy team lead and pharmacists, with at least 2 years of pharmacy experience, you will work on-site during 6 PM to 6 AM shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years pharmacy-related experience required.
• IV Course required - 20-hour ACPE accredited.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Prepares unit dose medications and sterile preparations.
• Delivers medications to patient care units and cardiac operating room suites.
• Performs non-sterile admixtures and computer entry for documentation.
• Maintains inventory and ensures clean, organized work areas.
• Adheres to policies, procedures and infection control standards.
