Job summary

Qualifications

• High School or Equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year CCMC pharmacy experience or hands-on IV prep experience.
• Basic knowledge of math, the metric system, pharmaceutical chemistry, and medical terminology.
• General knowledge of office procedures such as filing and record keeping.
• Good telephone and oral communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist in providing pharmacy services to patients and staff.
• Handle clerical tasks: answering phones, recording, filing, reporting.
• Develop skills in central PO area, Omnicell processing, sterile/non-sterile compounding, audits.
• Work under direct supervision of an experienced pharmacist.
• Training documentation must be on file before independent work.
