Job summary

Day Kimball Health in Putnam, CT is hiring a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) for our Intensive Care Unit team. This is a flexible opportunity for an experienced RN to care for patients and serve the community.

The role requires graduating from an accredited nursing program, CT RN license, CPR certification, and NVCIT training. Per diem schedule offers base pay plus a 15% differential, sick time, a 401(k) with employer contributions, and pay-for-performance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Connecticut.
• CPR certification (AHA Healthcare Provider) required.
• NVCIT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s physical, psycho-social, emotional, cultural, spiritual and discharge needs.
• Communicate effectively and document accurately.
• Demonstrate technical skill and knowledge of patient care equipment.
• Evaluate and adjust the plan of care as needed.
• Develop and implement a plan of care for each patient.
• Recognize unsafe situations and intervene promptly.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
