Job summary

Day Kimball Health is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse to join our ICU team in Putnam, CT. This day shift role (7a-7p) offers a prorated sign-on bonus up to $6,000 for this 24-hour position.

Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, providing emergent and restorative care, and ensuring accurate documentation. Connecticut RN licensure and CPR/NVCIT certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Connecticut required.
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification or equivalent within 3 months of hire required.
• Current NVCIT certification or within 3 months of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psycho-social, emotional, cultural, spiritual and discharge needs according to age and developmental level.
• Document effectively and maintain accuracy of medical records.
• Demonstrate technical skill and knowledge of patient care equipment and procedures.
• Evaluate and adjust the plan of care as needed.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
• Recognize unsafe situations and intervene promptly.
