Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking an administrative professional to support the Cardiac ICU's operations and to help ensure the best possible patient experience by coordinating services for patients and families.

You will perform scheduling, triage calls, obtain authorizations, and provide positive customer service while collaborating with referring providers and staff. The shift is overnight, Monday–Friday, 12-9:30pm.

Qualifications

• High school level of education; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior customer service or administrative experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; demonstrate empathy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service via phone to support unit operations.
• Collaborate with referring providers and practices via phone.
• Obtain required authorizations and coordinate patient and staff schedules.
• Triage calls and forward messages; provide routine clerical support.
