White Oak Medical Center seeks an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant for our Intensive Care Unit who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Patient Care Technician, you will perform vital signs, assist with activities of daily living, and support the Registered Nurse in delivering compassionate, safe care in a fast-paced ICU.

Qualified candidates hold MD CNA license, BLS, a high school diploma, and CNA program

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Maryland CNA license is required.
• CNA program and CNA exam completed.
• BLS certification must be active.
• Experience in acute care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vital signs and activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Follow the care plan established by the RN and deliver safe care.
• Identify safety concerns and report equipment issues.
• Participate in department education and professional initiatives.
• Maintain professional image and contribute to a positive work environment.
