The Nursing Operations Manager located at Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital (CFMH) in Rocky Mount, VA provides 24-hour operational leadership for nursing units, aligns with organizational goals, supports staff engagement, and drives execution of departmental objectives.

This is a full time, salaried position working evenings 3pm-1am. The CFMH Nursing Operations Manager supervises throughput, quality, patient experience, and staffing with budget oversight and cost-containment efforts.

Qualifications

• BSN required and licensed to practice in Virginia.
• Minimum 2 years in a clinical nursing role.
• Current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia; de-escalation training within 4 months; BLS-HCP required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour operational leadership for nursing units.
• Lead day-to-day operations, throughput, quality, and patient experience.
• Manage staffing, budget, and expenses; implement goals and action plans.
• Collaborate with department leaders on new services and performance initiatives.
• Represent Carilion Clinic in meetings and support engagement of staff.
