Qualifications

• Graduate of school of professional nursing; BSN required.
• At least 2 years in a clinical nursing role.
• Currently licensed as Registered Nurse in Virginia.
• Life Support: BLS-HCP required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required based on work unit.
• De-escalation training within 4 months of hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour operational leadership for nursing units.
• Oversee daily throughput, patient experience rounding, and employee engagement.
• Plan budget and manage expenses; monitor unit quality and safety.
• Coordinate staffing to meet unit needs and lead daily leadership rounding.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with medical staff.
