Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK is seeking a Nursing Student to join our Nursing Tech team. This role provides opportunities to work with diverse patient populations and to perform nursing assistant duties under RN supervision.

You will demonstrate competence with patient care equipment, communicate changes in patient conditions, and participate in patient and family education. A chance to apply classroom learning in a real hospital setting at a well-established NW Oklahoma

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in an accredited Nursing Program or Oklahoma CNA licensure.
• Must pass each required semester including clinical and theory.
• BLS certification is required.
• Must complete pre-employment assessment.
• Must demonstrate tasks before performing independently.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and operate equipment for patient care under supervision of an RN.
• Notify team of changes or problems in patient condition.
• Participate in patient education per policy considering developmental differences.
• Report variances per risk management processes.
