Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK is seeking a Nursing Student to join our team as a Nurse Tech. You will work with diverse patient populations and support care delivery under RN supervision.

The role requires current enrollment in an accredited Nursing Program (first semester completed) or Oklahoma CNA licensure with ongoing nursing studies. Must have BLS and be able to pass the pre-employment assessment; basic computer skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in and has completed the first semester of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Oklahoma CNA licensure for Long Term Care and ongoing enrollment in Nursing Program.
• BLS certification is required.
• Must pass the pre-employment assessment.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence in assembling and operating equipment for patient care under the supervision of an RN.
• Keeps appropriate people aware of pertinent changes or problems in patient condition.
• Participates in planned education for the patient per Patient/Family Education policy with consideration of developmental differences.
• Reports variances according to risk management processes.
