Job summary

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland or compact state
• BSN required
• Minimum 5 years ICU RN experience
• Previous Charge Nurse experience
• Strong leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and patient flow in ICU
• Provide direct supervision to professional and non-professional staff
• Coordinate staff based on patient acuity and unit needs
• Promote compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and patient safety standards
• Support quality improvement, patient safety, and service excellence initiatives
• Participate in staff orientation, education, coaching, and performance management
• Act as a clinical role model, mentor, and resource for ICU staff
