Qualifications

• BSN required and active RN license in Maryland or a compact state.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of three years of Acute Cardiac nursing experience.
• Leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in cardiac or intermediate care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and operational leadership for the Acute Cardiac IMC Unit during assigned shift.
• Coordinate patient care delivery, staffing, and daily workflow based on acuity and census.
• Supervise nursing and support staff, ensuring adherence to clinical standards.
• Ensure regulatory, accreditation, and organizational requirements compliance.
• Participate in developing and implementing patient care standards and evidence-based practices.
• Support quality improvement, patient safety, and performance initiatives.
• Facilitate staff orientation, training, and professional development.
• Promote service excellence and patient-centered care.
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model for staff.
