Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Idaho seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join our ICU team at a Level III trauma center in Nampa. This 18-bed medical ICU offers a dynamic, high-acuity environment with state-of-the-art equipment and a dedicated team.

Shifts are 12-hour night rotations. The role emphasizes rapid assessment, critical care, and collaboration with multidisciplinary rounds to ensure exceptional patient outcomes while supporting families through challenging recoveries.

Qualifications

• Holds Idaho license or multistate RN license.
• If multistate, residency with Idaho Board of Nursing within 6 months of hire.
• Must have Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Willing to obtain ACLS within 6 months and PALS within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in an 18-bed medical ICU.
• Collaborate with a team of skilled nurses to provide critical care.
• Work in a state-of-the-art facility with advanced equipment.
• Implement evidence-based practices to uphold patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patient conditions and progress.
