Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, Idaho, seeks a Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) team at our Level II Trauma Center. This full-time night shift position supports care for patients after major cardiac surgeries in a 10-bed unit located at our Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd.

Qualifications

Idaho or multistate RN license (must establish Idaho residency within 6 months if applicable).
BLS certification at hire; ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Care for patients recovering from intricate cardiac procedures, including CABG, heart valve surgery, and aortic surgery.
Deliver specialized care with expertise, compassion, and a commitment to patient-centered approaches in our state-of-the-art ICU.
Administer medications and perform essential procedures to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Provide patient education and support to enhance health and wellness.
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and efficiently.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure a smooth transition for patients.
