Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, Idaho, is seeking Emergency and Trauma Nurses for the ED at our Level II Trauma Center. This is a full-time, 12-hour night shift role with opportunities to move to day or mid shift.

Some nurses may float to our freestanding ED in Eagle, ID. As part of a collaborative team, you will care for emergency patients, run trauma cases, and work with emergency physicians, trauma, ortho, and neurosurgeons.

Qualifications

• A Idaho RN license is required at hire.
• Multistate licenses must establish Idaho residency within 60 days.
• Oregon RN license proof or application required within 90 days.
• Other SAHS Crosswalk certifications may be required.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC required at hire; ACLS and/or PALS may substitute.
• Prefer 1+ year emergency department nursing experience.
• BLS/HCP certification required in all units unless ACLS/PALS in effect.

Responsibilities

• Care for emergency patients in the ED and assist with trauma cases.
• Work with a collaborative team including emergency physicians, trauma, ortho, and neurosurgeons.
• Provide high-quality care within Level II Trauma Center and STEMI/Stroke designations.
• Possible float to Eagle ED as needed.
