Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• MSN preferred; MSN within 5 years if undergrad BSN.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing care and administers medications as necessary.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to achieve outcomes.
• Assists with treatments, therapies and procedures.
• Provides patient and family education effectiveness.
• Participates in performance improvement activities.
• Supports development of policies reflecting evidence-based practice.
• Allocates resources and assists with unit budget oversight.
• Ensures compliance with Nursing Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Mentors staff and promotes shared governance.
