Job summary

The ideal candidate will have an NC RN license, BSN with MSN preferred, and a track record in nursing leadership, budgeting, and professional development within an ICU setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in North Carolina.
• MSN preferred or enrollment in MSN within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Ensure unit operations comply with Nursing Practice Act and standards.
• Recruit, orient, credential and develop personnel with performance evaluations.
• Promote shared governance and use research to improve outcomes.
• Manage resources and budget to maintain cost-effective unit operations.
