Job summary

Medical City Las Colinas is seeking an ICU Clinical Nurse Supervisor to lead the unit during night shifts and weekends. You will coordinate patient care, staff scheduling, and inventory while collaborating with nursing leadership to maintain high-quality outcomes.

The role requires RN licensure, ACLS/BCLS certs, and an Associate Degree. This position emphasizes staff development, process improvement, and a patient-first approach within a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• RN license required/active in state
• ACLS and BCLS certifications required
• Associate degree in nursing or related field

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality patient care.
• Assess and improve the quality of patient care services in collaboration with unit management.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and managers to foster teamwork for improved outcomes.
• Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when needed.
• Operationalize nursing strategies such as hourly rounds and staff engagement to improve outcomes.
• Provide guidance on interviewing, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Assist with staff scheduling and labor management to meet patient care needs.
• Support inventory control and management of supplies and equipment.
