Job summary

McLaren ICU is seeking a part-time nursing aide to support nursing staff and assist in delivering patient care under RN supervision. You will perform routine patient tasks, monitor data, and help with hygiene and daily activities across a day shift.

Responsibilities include assisting with ambulation, data collection, and basic bedside procedures. A high school diploma and nursing assistant training are required; weekend availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Acute care nursing assistant course required or preferred.
• Long term care nursing assistant course.
• EMT program completion.
• Medical assistant program completion.
• Clinical rotation in accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with routine patient care per plan.
• Record and report patient data; communicate changes in condition.
• Perform basic skin care, glucose checks, and related routine tasks.
