Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking a Night Shift, Part-time Health Unit Coordinator-style support to assist nursing staff in the Same Day Surgery department. Under RN supervision, you will help with patient care activities, data entry, and clerical tasks to keep the unit running smoothly.

Responsibilities include responding to call lights, assisting with mobility and hygiene, recording patient data, and coordinating basic information flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Training or coursework in medical terminology and data entry preferred.
• Specialized nursing assistant or related healthcare training is a plus.
• Minimum six months healthcare clerical or direct patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff and support patient/resident care per care plan.
• Provide routine care such as call-light response, mobility help, hygiene assistance.
• Perform general clerical duties and data entry tasks on unit.
