STHS McAllen is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead nursing care for patients with medical or surgical conditions in a hospital setting. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while guiding other nursing staff and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires compliance with facility policies and ongoing professional certification; weekend or on-call work may be required to ensure patient-centered care and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in Texas, or compact state, or valid temporary license.
• Associate/Baccalaureate/Diploma from nursing program; new grads may have permit to practice.
• BLS certification required; ongoing renewal.
• ARC/AHA certifications may be required and kept current.

Responsabilités

• Manage patients with medical or surgical conditions; provide professional nurse leadership.
• Assess, plan, guide, and evaluate nursing care in line with policies and philosophy.
• Provide safe, competent nursing care; lead and support healthcare team.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and other departments; resolve concerns.
• Occasional weekend/holiday/evening/night/on-call work; uphold service excellence.
