Job summary

OhioHealth in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit 1 to provide general nursing care across the continuum in a 24/7/365 environment. The RN is accountable to the Ohio Board of Nursing and will delegate tasks to LPNs/UAPs as appropriate. Shift: Night, 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification required.
• BSN is required at 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/diagnosis: perform initial and ongoing health status assessment and document findings.
• Outcomes identification/planning: plan interventions to meet patient needs based on nursing diagnoses.
• Implementation/evaluation: carry out and document nursing interventions and reassess outcomes with the care team.
• Leadership: participate in process improvements to achieve quality, safety, and efficiency metrics.
• Operations: perform routine ICU operations and support a high reliability organization (HRO) mindset.
