Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit 1. The role involves providing general nursing care across the continuum in a 24/7/365 environment, with a night shift and a 36-hour weekly schedule.

The RN will assess patients, plan and implement care, and collaborate with licensed practical nurses and other staff to ensure high-quality outcomes. OhioHealth values safety, continuous learning, and exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• RN license valid in Ohio or a multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• BSN degree required at 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients' health status and plan care accordingly.
• Identify expected outcomes and plan nursing interventions.
• Implement and evaluate care plans; revise as needed.
• Participate in process improvement to enhance quality and patient satisfaction.
• Support unit operations and teamwork in a 24/7 ICU setting.
