Job summary

Southeastern Medical Center seeks a General RN to provide comprehensive nursing care across units in a 24/7 setting. The role requires assessing and coordinating patient care, delegating tasks, and collaborating with LPNs and UAPs.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating care while focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency within a high reliability environment. Ohio RN license and BLS are required; BSN preferred after 5 years.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or active RN licensure in good standing.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• BSN preferred after 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess/diagnose patients and document health status (30%).
• Plan and identify outcomes based on nursing diagnoses (30%).
• Implement and evaluate care plans with multidisciplinary team (20%).
• Provide leadership and participate in process improvement activities (10%).
• Oversee operations within the department and ensure safety and quality.

Associate's Degree: Nursing

BSN preferred at 5 years of employment
