Job summary

OhioHealth ICU in Ohio seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care across the continuum in a 24/7 environment. The RN is accountable for nursing practice as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing and collaborates with LPNs and UAPs to ensure safe, effective patient care.

Day shift, 36 hours per week. Requires Ohio RN license and BLS certification; BSN is preferred after 5 years of employment. Emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork in a High Reliability Organization.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification as required.
• BSN required at 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and or individual (30%).
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - Documents planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Implementation/Evaluation - Evaluates and documents response to nursing interventions.
• Leadership - Participates in process improvement activities for quality and patient satisfaction.
• Operations.
