Job summary

Endeavor Health invites applications for an RN - ICU position in Chicago, IL. This full-time night shift (7pm–7:30am) requires 36 hours per week with every other weekend and rotating holidays.

You will deliver patient-centered care, supervise staff, document thoroughly, and apply evidence-based practice. We seek graduates from accredited nursing programs with Illinois licensure, ACLS, NIHSS within 3 months, and PALS/NRP as required by unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Illinois Nursing licensure.
• ACLS Certification and NIHSS within 3 months of hire.
• PALS or NRP may be required within six months depending on unit.
• Minimum one year of staff nurse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Maintain competency per current practice standards and guide peers.
• Ensure safe environment and timely documentation.
• Provide leadership and supervise nursing staff.
