Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care and ensures patient safety, promoting evidence-based practice and quality initiatives.
• Assesses and evaluates patient care for an assigned group using evidence-based practice.
• Collaborates with patient and family to develop a plan of care including physical, spiritual, and educational components.
• Communicates pertinent information to appropriate team members in a timely manner.
• Keeps patient/family apprised/updated.
• Documents assessments, interventions and outcomes per documentation standards.
• Assumes responsibility for care provided and documented by others as appropriate.
