Job summary

OhioHealth Corporation in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the continuum in diverse, acute care settings.

The RN delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs under the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, and works within a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Shift is Day, full-time (36 hours weekly) in Intensive Care Unit; strives for safety, quality and excellent patient outcomes within a High Reliability Organization framework.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree (Required).
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• RN license from the Ohio Board of Nursing (multi-state compact acceptable).
• BSN required after 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - Documents planned nursing interventions to meet patient needs.
• Implementation/Evaluation - Evaluates patient response and revises care plans with the team.
• Leadership - Participates in process improvement for quality, safety and patient satisfaction.
• Operations - Supports daily unit operations and adherence to policies.
