Job summary

Brookwood Baptist Health's Baptist Health Walker Hospital is seeking an ICU RN for full-time night shift (three 12s) to care for critically ill adults. You will monitor patients, interpret data, adjust care plans, and collaborate with physicians and the nursing team to ensure safety and outcomes.

The ideal candidate has an Alabama RN license, BLS, 1 year of acute care experience (2+ preferred), and a commitment to evidence-based practice and patient advocacy during life-supporting interventions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing; meet Baptist Health competency requirements.
• Maintains current Alabama RN license or valid eNLC multistate license.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• Must have at least 1 year of RN experience in an acute care facility; 2+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced nursing care for critically ill patients with complex assessments.
• Interprets monitoring data; adjusts care plans and prioritizes changes.
• Operates equipment; responds to emergencies per protocols and standards.
• Documents care accurately and collaborates with physicians and teams.
