Job summary

Brookwood Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (7pm–7am) in our ICU Float Pool. The RN will provide direct patient care across ICU settings, with a focus on stabilizing complex cases and coordinating with the inter-professional team.

Requirements include graduation from an approved nursing program and an active Alabama RN license with BLS certification. ICU experience is preferred. This is a full-time, nights position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for the hospital and unit.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop an individualized plan of care.
• Evaluate patient progress toward outcomes.
• Document care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate care with physicians and inter-professional team.
• Maintain patient safety and comply with regulatory standards.
• Provide compassionate, family-centered care.
• Participate in staff development and quality improvement initiatives.
