Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift. The role involves conducting comprehensive patient assessments, creating care plans, and administering treatments while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will mentor staff, document in the EMR, and respond quickly to emergencies. A Florida RN license, ACLS, NIHSS, and critical care experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license required (RN)
• Associate's degree in nursing required
• ACLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience in critical care preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions.
• Provide education to patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Document patient care activities in the EMR accurately.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.
• Mentor nursing staff and maintain a safe, infection-controlled environment.
• Respond promptly to life-threatening situations using established protocols.
