Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift to conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes.

The role requires an Associate's degree in Nursing, RN licensure and BLS; Bachelor's degree preferred. Strong communication, critical thinking and leadership abilities are essential. Clinician will document in EMR and participate in quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• Active RN license and BLS required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and data gathering.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on findings.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and safety protocols.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and self-care.
• Collaborate with health care team for coordinated care.
• Document care in the EMR accurately and timely.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Respond to life-threatening situations per protocols.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff as needed.
