Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at Christiana Hospital in Delaware. This full-time night-shift role offers a 36-hour weekly schedule with day rotation, and opportunities to work with advanced technology in a high-acuity environment.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions and advocate for patients and families.

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire)

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes.
