Job summary

ProMedica is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU, night shifts, to deliver high-level patient care within a multidisciplinary team. You will lead nursing staff, implement evidence-based interventions, and coordinate care with physicians and other providers while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, administering medications, documenting in the electronic health record, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• RN license (state of Michigan)
• Current CPR certification
• Continuing education: 25 hours in 2 years (pain & symptom management)
• Specialty certifications as required

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care in collaboration with the health care team.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and therapies per state licensure.
• Document care and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record.
• Promote safety, quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
• Lead and coordinate nursing team to optimize patient outcomes.
