AdventHealth in Wesley Chapel, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. You will administer medications, monitor responses, and educate patients and families while collaborating with the care team.

The role requires an Associate's in Nursing, with a Bachelor’s preferred, and multiple acute care certifications (ACLS/BLS; PCCS/CEN/NRP).

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Nursing required.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
ACLS, BLS, and other listed certifications required or preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety.
Monitor and evaluate patient responses, adjusting care plans as needed.
Provide education and counseling to patients and families about health conditions and treatments.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated patient care.
Document care activities accurately in the EMR.
Ensure compliance with regulations and organizational policies.
Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality care.
Maintain infection control and safety protocols.
Respond to life-threatening situations using established protocols.
