Job summary
AdventHealth in Palm Coast, Florida, is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.
The role requires RN licensure, CPR/BLS, and a bachelor’s or associate degree in nursing, with a preference for acute care experience.
Qualifications
- RN licensure and relevant certifications may apply depending on unit/state.
- 1+ acute care hospital experience preferred.
- CPR/BLS and other listed certifications may be required.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients across physiological, psychological, developmental and spiritual factors and create care plans.
- Educate patients and families about conditions and treatments.
- Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care.
- Document care activities and patient outcomes accurately.
- Monitor and adjust care plans to improve health outcomes and maintain safety.
- Provide emotional support and supervise care delivery by team members.
- Engage in performance improvement and respond to code situations.
