Job summary
AdventHealth Wesley Chapel in Florida is seeking a registered nurse for a full-time night shift. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, administer medications, monitor responses, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and high-quality outcomes.
The ideal candidate holds an RN license, BLS, and experience in critical care; Cerner or EPIC EMR experience is preferred.
Qualifications
- RN license in Florida or eligible for licensure.
- Experience in critical care environments preferred.
- BLS certification required; additional certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and data gathering.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on findings.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed with safety.
- Monitor patient responses and adjust plans as needed.
- Provide education to patients and families about conditions and care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
- Document care activities accurately in the EMR.
- Maintain infection control standards and a safe environment.
