Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Unit in Massachusetts. The role operates on a 3-night shift pattern (7P-7A) with a 36-hour work week and may include a signing bonus based on eligibility.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, discharge planning, medication administration, and collaboration with the care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Requires MA RN licensure and BLS; ACLS as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts licensure and registration.
• Completion of an accredited school of nursing program.
• BLS is required for every RN; ACLS and unit-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Uses the Nursing Process to plan and manage patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment per procedure.
• Develops and coordinates care plans including discharge planning.
