Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a registered nurse for night shift opportunities across critical care settings. You will apply the nursing process from admission to discharge, perform patient assessments, and develop and coordinate care plans with discharge planning. Requires Massachusetts RN license and BLS; ACLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• BSN highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment.
• Develops care plans including discharge planning.
• Directs and evaluates nursing care within the clinical setting.
• Documents care and educates patient and family.
• Administers medications and operates equipment per policy.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to ensure quality care.
• Participates in quality improvement and governance activities.
