Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet in Joliet, IL is seeking an Internal Registry Registered Nurse (RN) for ICU with a Nights shift on a 12-week assignment. Compensation is $57.50 per hour, with competitive terms and standard nursing responsibilities in critical care.

The role requires active RN license, BLS, ACLS, CCCRN preferred, and ICU/critical care experience. This is a temporary PRN position with ongoing staffing evaluations and a strong emphasis on patient safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintained.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintained.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital; critical care preferred.
• CCRN Certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care within ICU scope and supervise patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing staff.
• Communicate with physician about changes in patient condition, hemodynamic monitoring, diagnostic results, and symptoms.
• Respond quickly and accurately to condition changes and treatment responses.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
